What’s different about the Coolsculpting Elite®?
CoolSculpting Elite® now has two applicators that allow for twice the fat removal in the same amount of time. Not only does this save time and speed up fat removal, but patients can also rely on more symmetrical results by treating both sides of the body simultaneously. The Coolsculping Elite® device also has C-shaped applicators, with 7 different shapes and sizes, to offer improved fit and comfort.
CoolSculpting® and Coolsculpting Elite ® freezes fat cells and naturally eliminates them. You’ll work with one of our Certified Coolsculpting Providers to determine if you’re a candidate and develop a personalized treatment plan. We use cryolipolysis, otherwise known as fat freezing, to freeze the fat cells in the treated area.
How long does CoolSculpting Elite® take?
A CoolSculpting Elite ® treatment typically takes as little as 35-75 minutes, depending on the area treated, with treatment sessions lasting 1-3 hours on average. For most patients, two or more treatment sessions are recommended to help reach their body contouring goals. All clients have customized treatment plans but we typically recommend six weeks in between (same area) treatments.
How much reduction can I expect?
Following treatment, the body will naturally eliminate the dead fat cells, which can result in up to 20-25% reduction of stubborn fat in the treated area. You may see results as early as 1 to 3 months after treatment.
What areas can be treated?
CoolSculpting Elite® are FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments. CoolSculpting Elite® is not a treatment for weight loss.
